Rajeev has more than 23 years of experience in the area of energy efficiency and domain expertise in climate mitigation and energy management. He has rich experience in advising public and private sector clients on climate change. He is a globally renowned international expert on advising governments on implementation of sustainable policy for building sector, standards & labeling program designs/implementations. Rajeev has worked with policy makers in India, Bangladesh, Maldives, Egypt, Bhutan, Cambodia, European Commission and more. Rajeev has more than 10 years of work experience in assisting the government and stakeholders in terms of training, workshop, policy development related to climate change in India.
He has successfully executed assignments for clients like State Nodal Agencies and other government departments, GiZ, EU Commission, The World Bank, ADB, IFC, UNDP, UNIDO, KfW, AfD, British High Commission, Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Bureau of Energy Efficiency, Ministry of New and Renewable Energy.
Some of his core expertise areas include sustainability policy advising at state level, building sector energy efficiency (retrofits as well as developing building code), development of business plans, minimum energy performance standards (MEPS) for industrial processes & equipment, HVAC standards and improvement options, measurement & verification, energy auditing, impact evaluation of programmes, training & capacity building, benchmarking & feasibility studies etc. Rajeev is a Certified and Accredited Energy Auditor from Bureau of Energy Efficiency, India and Certified Measurement & Verification Professional (CMVP) from EVO, USA. He is also a Green Lean Six Sigma Expert.
