Eligibility Criteria DATA CENTRES

  • Smart, Sustainable, and Energy-Efficient Data Centre Building
  • Minimum eligibility criteria: The facility must have an IT load of at least 500 kW (Rack load) within a single server hall, or a minimum cooling load of 150 TR, inclusive of the connected UPS and battery room.
  • The Data Centre should be Compliant with Tier III rating as per TIA942/C Uptime BICSI
  • The Data Centre should have been commissioned on or after 1 January 2022 and operational for a minimum period of 2 years preceding the nomination submission date.
  • Retrofitted and Recommissioned Data Centres will also be eligible provided minimum 40 % retrofit. Details of retrofits done since 1 January 2022 to be provided.
  • A fully operational integrated monitoring, automation, and management system must be in place, with at least one year of recent operational data (up to the date of nomination) available and accessible via a centralized dashboard.
  • Performance parameters of interest are – PUE/DCiE/CUE/WUE and HVAC system Energy Performance Index (EPI), IAQ, and full compliance with relevant codes/standards.
  • The Data Centre owner should be informed of the nomination and should be willing to share building data
  • The Owner’s authorised person’s contact details are required.
